The Sims 2 -
Setting Up your Character

Your first choice is to be male or female, thin or round, skin color, face composition, makeup tattoo, and various outfits. These are your "base look" settings. You can choose new hats and outfits in the game, but you will usually return back to this base when you remove the other costume. Choose a set of looks that you'll be happy with!

There are five main lifestyle goals for a character to choose from:

* Family
* Money
* Romances
* Knowledge
* Popularity

The type of goal you have will determine the type of career you have (or if you choose not to have one). Make sure your personality setup supports your goal. If your goal is to be popular, don't set up a really shy person, unless you enjoy a big challenge! If your goal is family, it's a good idea to be nice, not grouchy :)
