Hitman 2 Walkthrough
Taking Out the General

OK, now you're on a real mission, not a personal one. You have to take out a general at a meeting - but NOT anyone else that is there. You're on a tight time limit, so don't expect to make this mission the first time through. Just get a feel for where everything is, so when you try it again you can go through quickly.

First, you get off the train. Head right to the lockers, and pick lock #137. Take out all of your gear. Now turn around and go right - then left up the stairs. Shoot out the lights on the stairs as you go up. Now change your clothes with the guard at the top - give him some encouragement to give up his clothes.

Pick the lock on the left - this gets you into the sewers. There's a fence by the water - left. Corss the bridge - left. Climb the ladder. Up and west - 5 minutes. Shoot the guy around the corner, cross the double street in front of the building. Watch your map, 2 guys go past. Then go up and left, enter 2nd building. You go down a short stair, up 2 stairs into the apartment. It's the middle room with the view.

Use your sniper rifle to see the 4 generals. You're told (very slowly) that he's right handed, drinks, bald, is a non-smoker. He's the far left guy at the table. Now change to the revolver.

Go down the stairs and wait for the guards. Follow slowly behind the guy to the right. Get to the end fo the building, right. Down the driveway, retrace your route to the train. There's no time limit for this part.

"expert" was 14 shots, 2 kills.
